Good to hear that it's still easy for people to begin crunching. Surprising (and sad) to hear that there's less than a million crunchers. Did you try posting this in the Cruncher's Corner? Any suggestions on how to encourage more people to participate?

That is what we are trying to achieve with these mp3`s. But you can also do you bit by talking to your friends and/or relatives and convince them that a lot of these projects are not merely trying to find alien life forms/neutron stars etc, but are also for the benefit of mankind, and using their spare cpu cycles will cost them very little.
