Is this a onetime thing I can do and then shut the boincstudio app down? The last time I was using v0.5.5 I averaged having to endtask boincstudio two or three times a day because it locked up.

please come on the boincstudio to discuss this.
and by the way, I just don't understand your post (the question you ask, for the BS hangs, I got it).

Download only one CPDN model, then say no new work and give CPDN a very high resource share. Now the CPDN model runs always on one of the cores and the other core is free for other projects.

One comment on CPDN and scheduling... I'm running the BBC version on one machine and I noticed a similar thing. The estimated run time for the WU has grown to over 6000 hours of which I've crunched 1840 of it since March of 2006... With a completion date of Mar. 31, 2007, I'll need to dedicate the machine to BBC to even come close to completing the WU. So, sharing a machine with a one of the weather projects becomes a more of a losing battle the closer you come to the weather project's completion date.

Another comment on BOINC scheduling... BOINC will EXECUTE the various project WU's in the ratio you request, but will NOT DOWNLOAD WU's in that same ratio unless you are in permanent contact with the internet... If you are in a dialup situation, "suspended" projects and "out of work" projects will cause you constant headaches (empty queues)... I thought "suspending" a project would cure the problem, but NO; NO GO. "Detaching" was the only real solution...
