Is it normal to have 75+ work units and 6,000 credits pending. I'm running on 5 machines and just started 2 weeks ago doing Einstein so I'm new to this.
Since Einstein sends your host one major datafile, then tries to issue you many subsequent results from the same datafile, you have a vastly smaller, and less randomly selected set of quorum partners than, for example, on SETI@home.
Some folks have both fast machines, and set very large pending work "cache" sizes (using the "Connect to network about every" setting under general preferences).
If one of your hosts is using a small cache, and falls in with quorum partners using large ones, your credit can get quite delayed. Then, in a few weeks, you'll get matched with different folks and things will change.
If you prefer to get quicker credit, and don't mind doing to others what you've noticed being done to you, you might prefer to move your cache setting up by a couple of days.
Oh God... with this RAC... no wonder ;-) No, seriously... if you have five machines crunching and seem to get lots of credits even with so many WUs pending it is quite normal that you have to wait a bit at first. Don't get too impatient, at least you'll get lots of credit later. On average, people here have only about two computers attached and quite a few of them crunch for more than one project, so you can imagine that they can't finish their WUs quite as fast as you do.
6,000 pending is high. Some of it is bad luck as the partner got a bunch of download errors and you have to wait for those to get resent and then processed.
The rest are from completing wu's almost as soon as they arrive. You can try adding a day or two to your General Preferences Connect to network about every XX days to a longer period. You'll get more wu's but they'll get a chance to 'age' and come closer to their partner's completion.

I have had over 5k several times and seem to average around 2500. It seems to cycle about once a week.
Some people set their cache to 10 days, which means they only report work every approximately 10 days. This is one of the reasons people wait for credit for a long time. Another is people start, but never finish units, some computers are slower, etc. There are a lot of reasons there is pending. Just think of it as money due to you, and will be paid on the next paydate.

The credits have been rolling in like mad as was mentioned earlier in the thread. It has dropped to like 2500 as of now. Thanks for all the info guys.

I would like to see mine drop, it has been holding over 4000 for over a week. As we say in Cali,"bummer".
