A new App for Intel-based Macs is available on our Beta Test Page. It was built from the same code as the 4.17 Linux App and with the new gcc from Xcode 2.4. It runs about 10% faster than the 4.03 App on my machines.

Happy testing!

18 completed on my MBP - 5 pending, no validation errors on the rest. I'm getting approximately 15% reduction in computing time (21,800 to 18,800 cpusec).

Thanks for speedup, Bernd!

(Note that this doesn't apply to the MacOS PPC App 4.26 yet, if you are also running this.)

BM, So all we have to do

BM,

So all we have to do is trash the app_info.xml file from the "/Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/projects/einstein.phys.uwm.edu/" folder? And nothing will go haywire?

Thanks.
