I just got another 13+ hr run on a WU, and noticed that my quorum partner was using 5.4.9 with a Boinc Studio.

Fine, but at the bottom, it shows an app 4.10 version. 10,000 sec faster than mine.... WU

When and where is app 4.10 to have it downloaded. I was under the impression that the server was in control of that download....

When did the App 4.10 become available?

As part of thier version control system, each OS gets its own version number. 4.10 was briefly used for akos apps. A few days later, it was asked that they not be used at all. This person either has not gotten the message, or is a scofflaw and is still using the 0007 app.

Dan, you are correct.. I failed to notice the SSE-0007 still being utilized by my quorum partner...now remember something about the 4.10 thing after you mentioned it...but by that time had stopped using them at Akos's request...

I had posed a question a week or so ago as to what happens to the crunch time we put in when we are partnered with someone who is still using those apps...
Are we wasting our time or not?? I really do not know..

Dan, thanks for replying...Stan

I don't think you have to

I don't think you have to worry. You're returning a good result. What I think is more likely is taht your quorum partner's results would be tossed into the bit bucket and a 3rd person would be assigned the work. OTOH, they might only be looking for double akos results to force a redo.
