I'm interested if all optimizations will also be included in the linux clients and if they will be comparable fast. What i see at the moment is that windows has a 4.02 client, linux a 4.01.
All x86 platforms (Windows, Linux, Intel Mac, FreeBSD) share the same analysis code. Unlike other projects we're keeping the numbers separated, because it makes it easier for us to sort out architecture- and OS-specific issues in the database, that's all.

Will S5 Linux Clients be supported as good as Windows ones?

And FreeBSD 4.09. That only means that Linux app was built first, then Windows app was made, etc... It does not compare across the platforms.
