ok, THAT was funny!... i live in georgia, so we are afectid by huricanes when florida gets hit.. how you ask?
1. the entire population of floridian drivers wich appear to not know how on earth to drive desides to go THREW ga to where ever there going
2. several convoys of rv's large enough to hold atleast 3 familys pass threw
3. a few of said rv convoys deside to make the local parking lots there new home
4. atleast a quarter of the population of drivers mentiond above have no idea that theres lil thing calld. NO RIGHT ON RED!!! and. ofcourse, NO PASSING ON DOUBLE YELLER!
on the bright side.
1. i can now sell the spare rolls of tp i have stockd up for such instances for $20 each.
2. i can sell the cans of spam i stock piled for $20 each.

on a serious note here. when huricanes come knockin on florida's door, we get the rain!.. in 1994 me and my family where afectid by huricane andrew. we lived in the county and the FLOOD of 1994 basicly left us. and the others folks in the trailor park (dont even think bout it :) ) where basicly stuck on an island,, we had power and gas, the gas was in tanks in the park ground. literaly. power came from some pritty big power lines comen from the backside.. one benafit of haven been in the country hehehe.. glad we had the power,, all the water came from 3 wells.. no power, no water... but we had no access to any stores and such. still. we made it threw just fine.. and can laugh about some things from back then :)
oh yeah, did i mention, thanks to that, we keep a full month supply of food in the house :)
oh one more thing, the bleach bit, if i recall right its 2 or 3 drops of bleach in a gallon of tap water will keep it "fresh" for quight a long time. tis how we used to do it... good luck asking the local water dept or ag office. they had no idea what we where talkin bout, but the fella found a pamplet on it and was completely shockd... now thats scarey!

Same principle applies when booking airline tickets / seats. Always ask for a seat next to the 'black box'. (that always seems to be found after an accident....)
Not real sure why they call it the Black Box. As the dang thing is painted bright orange. And there is 2 on most planes. One to record the data from the instruments, and one to record the cockpit chatter.

There has been enough plywood sold in the state of Florida to build a million
