OK ... I am now back here permanently from Seti.
After giving the site "another chance", I found that not much has changed with certain of the posters there. The rude elements are still there, alive and kicking and still making inappropriate comments and attacking other posters just because they feel they can do so. I cannot feel and do not feel at home with such behaviour.
By contrast, this board is a gentle haven - one I know where neither I nor my team will be attacked.
Just as it should be.

Many of us seem to have come here seeking haven from problems at another board...We may have come here seeking haven...But i know i'm not the only one that sees this board as a good and friendly place to be...I believe that most of us who came here as refugees are gonna be here posting and crunching for Einstein@home no matter what happens at the other projects...This project is very exciting and important in it's own right...I really believe that important discoveries will be made by this project in the not so distant future...So i'm glad i'm here...So glad...that i've increased my resource share for don't feel like a refugee from anywhere anymore...When i'm here now...I just feel like Dan...From Einstein@Home.

Just heard that my 4yo Son nearly electrocuted himself.
He cut the 240 volt power cord on his big brothers cassette player with a pair of scissors.
Thank **** for safety switches and plastic coated scissor handles!!!!!
