Hmmm. can you describe what you see when you reboot? Do you get any error messages? Do you see the "B" in the task bar (bottom right of your desktop? Does the box open, but have now contents? What OS are you using (windows, linux, etc)?[edit, oh win 98SE, edit]
Have you tried "start", "programs", "Boinc", Boinc? if so what happens?
Are you getting a "Winsock" error message?

I get no error message! doubleclick at boinc_gui. For a second at the toolbar (right side of statusbar (aktive programs)) I see boinc, and then it ends. It looks like, boinc has no wu. but before the restart a wu was working (ca. 13%)...
After restart, the B shows up on the task bar, then when you move the cursor over it, it disappears? I have seen this with my win98 machine. It this what's happening? If so, just wait 20 min and see if the B returns on it's own and the Boinc gui starts working. let me know
Also, are you getting the "no finished file" and "exited with zero result" messages? use explorer go to C\window\program files\boinc and open both the STDERR and STDOUT files and see if you are getting these messages.
