What is your Problem?
Nowhere in the rules I found that the host must crunch like fifo (First in/First out)
I can see a degree of problem. It appears the non-picked units are simply left to time expire, instead of being aborted. This means this person's quorum partners get an even greater delay in result validation than those caught in quorums with big-cache people.
As validation is part of the feedback system, impairing it is a degree of harm--not calamitous, but not zero, either.
I think that any cherry picking is detrimental to the integrity of the project and any users found to be doing it should simply have their account deleted. Cheats were a big problems at Seti-Classic. Most of the worst holes were filled with Boinc but credit cheaters always are looking for an edge and if you don't clamp down on it early it will only gets worst.
I don't think this is intended by the owner of the host. I have the same problem of disappearing WU's, see here: http://einsteinathome.org/node/190982. In that thread i mentioned WU's, that were crunched, uploaded and reported and never made it to the database because of the latest network troubles.
@cmds, I agree they don't have to be done in order, but most of the units, but not all, of the units not crunched would be granted low credits.
@Ulrich, I have read your post, you seem to be refering to a limited period of time. In this case it is over a period from the 23 march until at least the 1 April. I haven't seen that much network/server problems.
What do you think
