Very witty, and it goes to the heart of one of my pet peeves here - how can so many supposedly educated people do such an abyssmal job of expressing themselves in their language of choice. Gawd, but they do butcher it! I mean, this isn't Ebonics, we're not talking about cultural differences here. :-)

Furthermore, writing 'could of' could have been beaten out of people by teachers. It certainly should've been. It makes no more sense than 'could from', surely?
I actually enjoy the aroma of a fine cigar, but then diesel fumes have never bothered me either. It's the foul stench of hypocrisy and erosion of freedom that smells far worse to me.
