They were imprisoned inside a giant transparent frisbee.

Wasn't the Phantom Zone an automobile?

I think the prison rings

I think the prison rings thing was in Superman too, but in any event, I'll stop goofing around with people's avatars. I modified 'Cations' into “Butterflions...

I somehow didn't become acquainted with Fat Freddy's Cat, despite growing up in the 60's-70's, until that fateful day in the Einstein Cafe when I found out what a boffin was, and of course subsequently what a pillock is. Wouldn't want to imply restraint of that, ever, in any way. I remember days where, I swear, I could see claw marks on some of Misfit's earlier avatars, he who speaks of skinned cats. :)))

LOL! I think Misfit would quite happliy send me to the Phantom Zone, or see me constrained in an ion lattice!

Thank you anyway Chipper, it's nice to be appreciated, I hope you've found some Fat Freddy's Cat comics and understand why I chose that avatar and feel it suits me so well.

..but you don't have an avatar!! We'll have to find you one that incorporates your love of physics and rollerblading. :-)
