Hi Akos,

thanks for the brilliant work. I wonder if you would approve me of mirroring your apps on my webspace while providing some information on modified apps and clients.

If so, i'd like you to have a look over the website and give comments on what I wrote if you like.

Please contact me via email:

Thanks.

@akosf: mirror your applications?

Hello Akos

Have the same question.

Do you need a mirror, if so I would be happy to provide a site for your work. Can provide you with direct FTP access so uploading will be no problem. Connection is multiple OC-3's, and bandwidth available is 750 gig a month. I have a team forum, so posting links would also not be a big deal.

Let me know

Can contact me at : bob at wolfensystems.com

Forum is here, web site will be coming soon.

Well, if you want to do mirroring then do that. :-)
I had a look at the statistic of the optimised clients download page.
There were 245 visitors altogether in the last month.
It means about 100MB/month, and that about 1000 hosts run these clients. :-)

It is done. I have c-37 and c-40, also have s-38, s-39, and s-39L on the site. Will keep an eye out here for any new versions. Is there any versions I missed that would be of use to have mirrored?
Also is there some kind of break down on improvements in the versions and what CPU's they are best used with?

And by the way, awesome job.

Suggest you keep an eye on this thread for any updates.
Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Seems we may have started something ,lol. Well all for the better good.
I will do my best as I am pretty sure Loxami and Slovko will do his best to keep the mirrors up to date.

I also put there table with

I also put there table with information about crunching times/improvments for processors I have the data from friend of mine, mebers of our team. There is also short instalation procedure and some other notes for the people. Same as Loxami did. And it is also in Slovak language for people from my country.
And yes, I will do my best to keep the page up-to-date.

Definitely way more than 1000. I gave copies to team mates when your site was unreachable and others sure did the same. And a lot of people use your client on more than one box.

I have seen several Akosf-Only-WUs lately - my guess would be that at least 25% of all CPUs run your clients - or let's say at least 25% of the WUs come from your versions.

Not so many programs spread so quickly all over the world, you're doing a great job!

I would fair to venture that

I would fair to venture that there is a large number using the optimized client now. As the hits for downloads off my mirror is over 2000 now. So that does not include any of the other mirrors or directly from Akos
