Is it safe to assume there has been a change to the server side package so that the Outcome column is updated to reflect standard validation failures?

By this I mean when I have had validation failures in the past, it has not changed the "Success" outcome for the result in question, whereas now it appears to be doing that.

If so, the WIKI and other documentation sources need to be updated to reflect this change, since the implication there is that this type of behaviour typically indicates to a server malfunction (losing the result data files) rather than a possible problem at the client end.

As a suggestion, if updating the Outcome to reflect more accurately what has happened (a good idea BTW, IMHO) is what's happening, then there should another category to differeniate between actual validation failures and the loss of the result data files by the servers or other system malfunctions.

As it stands, this will add a new layer of confusion to the equation, since the behaviour is different (at least in my experience), and is incorrectly/inaccurately documented in the public domain.

Bruce, PLEASE comment on the use of akosf's optimization!

This was a bug in the PHP code behind the result.php web page. I have fixed this. The outcome of hte result was 'Validate error'.
