SSE2 optimization (win, Linux,...)

Now most users own SSE2 enabled CPUs, and most users use Win (or Linux).
So, I think there should be an SSE2 optimized version to download.

No need of many different optimized versions (MMX, 3Dnow, SSE, SSE3, ecc). I think one optimized version (for SSE2, handcoded optimization if necessary) is enough and is quite easy to maintain up-to-date.
