Heard this one before?
There are a number of BOINC projects in which it can be interesting to participate, with work units of vastly differing sizes.
Has anyone thought of adding resource allocation settings to the BOINC options?
Which would be best,
time division or concurrent threading?

You can edit your preferences and assign a resource share to any project you partecipate into. Mine are 300 for Einstein and 100 for SETI and BBC Climate Change.

BOINC switches applications

BOINC switches applications at a user defined rate (default 60 minutes) rather than trying to run projects concurrently. There is some overhead associated with swithing applications so this methode is normally more effecient.
