As of yesterday there was still ONE unfinished einstein workunit. When it's finished I'll shut off the einstein validator.

I'm glad you like the server status page. I have done quite a bit of work on it over the past few months.

To swell the head a little

To swell the head a little more ... the best I have seen ... for wahtever that is worth.

Statistics wise it is one of the best summarizations of all the projects. And, in a place one would expect ... :)

Wow, guess that shows how

Wow, guess that shows how smooth things run at EAH. I hadn't even felt the need to look at the server status for so long I didn't realize how much cool data is there now! :-)

To Dr. Allen:

Just want to let you know I think you folks are running one squared away BOINC project.

I just wish all the projects took the effort to keep the participants "in the loop" about all aspects of what's going on with the project as EAH.

I make allowances for SAH, but for a "production" project, you set the standard others should strive for, IMHO. :-)

Thank you -- my head is swelling! I'm very fortunate to have some very good people helping me with this project.

FWIW, we are just ordering more memory for our database server. It's a quad opteron box which currently has 8GB of memory; we're adding another 16GB, which should allow our database to grow by a factor of three and still fit in memory. This should make the response for certain operations, including these forums, a bit 'snappier'.

Cheers,
Bruce

PS: in the last 24 hours we have gotten the canonical result for the final 'einstein' WU. There are still some pending results for these WU, so I can't shut off the einstein validator/assimilator yet. But I'll be able to do that in another week or so.
