Hello everyone,
New to the crunching scene but seem to be getting some strange results in the BOINC client. Well probably me not understanding things completely.
It would seem that a bunch of the tasks I get and crunch error out after they are being computed. As I understand it is because once it tries to send the result the outcome shows as 'Server state: Over' and is dated 1970? Link to one of the tasks: https://einsteinathome.org/task/1695060675
My current date and time are all correct on my computer so something seems to be borked up. I have tried resetting the project and hopefully this fixes things.
I've also marked my preferences to do only BRP items for now however it is still sending me FGRP items. Or am I just a confused lowtech newbie cruncher?
Thanks in advance.

Your computers are hidden so

Your computers are hidden so you can't expect help from others.
Unlikely that the tasks are misconfigured, more likely your computer is not setting the time correctly and maintaining it. 1970 date is beginning of Linux epoch.
Oh my thanks for the quick

Oh my thanks for the quick reply. I did find the setting to unhide my computer info so please feel free to take a peek.
And thank you in advance. I wouldn't even know where to look if it's not keeping the correct time. Windows shows the correct date and time but you have my curiosity now. :)
There's nothing to worry

There's nothing to worry about. Your host is returning valid work for all your sub-projects.
The errors are simply caused by the servers cancelling those work units your host was sent because the tasks were already validated by earlier returned wingmen.
So again you don't have to do anything other than continue crunching.
Ah, they weren't late

Ah, they weren't late returning or anything but thank you so much for giving me some insight as I learn new things.
Some very interesting discussions in the various forums too.
Again, thank you kindly
