Just out of curiosity is anyone running a new generation nvidia ada lovelace gpu ?

The specs look very interesting if the cards work on Boinc projects, in particular the RTX 4000 Ada Gen.

I'd save up my shekels if they are compatible.

Thanks

AFAICT if it is a nvidia it will run the Nvidia drivers we have in Windows/LInux and will run e@h tasks.

At $1250+ new and $650+ used Tom you could put twice as many of these in your pc as you have gpu's right now and really see your RAC soar!! They even make water cooled ones.

Hmmmm..... A4000 Ada

Hmmmm.....

A4000 Ada generation (single slot)

26.73 TFlops Single precession Floating point.

Titan V (strict dual slot)

14.9 Tflops

Rtx 3080 ti (2.3 slot)

34.10 TFlops.

So on a 7 slot AsRock Epycd8 MB you might very well become competitive for first place.

On the other hand the Titan V's seem to be using a lot less electricity :)

Yes it will...it is a Quadro version of the card, so for WorkStation...you can run it 24/7!

Though, you have to use Quadro/RTX drivers, not geForce ones!

I personally use previous version of Quadro RTX 4000 & it runs great.
