The current plan is to extend

The current plan is to extend the current O3ASHF1 search beyond 1500 Hz up to ~2000 Hz, which would supply "work" far beyond the end of this year. This will require to replace a few components (workunit generator in particular), the transition might be a bit cumbersome. I hope to get it done until tomorrow, if not, O3ASHF1 work may run out over the weekend, but should be back on Monday.

Thanks for the heads up Bernd!  We will be prepared!

The new workgenerator seems

The new workgenerator seems to be running, but the download of new WUs is still stuck at the moment:

Sorry. A couple of things

Sorry. A couple of things went wrong today. I usually try to avoid doing such things on a Friday, but the BOINC workshop got in the way. Will set the project to finish what's left of the old charge of WUs over the weekend, then have a fresh start with the new work on Monday.

You may abort the "O3ASHF1c"

You may abort the "O3ASHF1c" tasks. I had to cancel these workunits.

Bernd, watching this video which had been posted here before, how long will this O3AS project last? Do we keep crunching this task until we find an evidence of gravitational waves emitted by known pulsars ("deformed" neutron stars) or continue the search up to xxxxHz? I'm just curious how long this project will last. In your first post on Jun 15, 2023 of this thread, the search will run for "7-8 months" but will be extended next week with higher frequency range. Thanks.
