All though the app_info.xml file is coded for the 1.14 version of All-Sky GW the Boinc Gui keeps showing version 1.08. And the GPU load pattern keeps behaving like 1.08
But the last pending I examined appears to have run 1.14?
I found a version parm in the app_info.xml file set to 108 and have changed that to 114.
But the majority of waiting to run's are brp7/MeerKat so it may be a while before I see if that "fixes" things.

Thank you for confirming that I still don't manage to get my details right. I am hopeful it runs better.
I am hoping for a Rac of at least 3M. No matter which tasks I am running.

That's a shame now that I am getting such good results from the 1.14 app. Oh well . . .
Brp7/MeerKat "forever" :)
I bumped my 1.14 tasks to 3x overnight. And was presented with 3 results that took 30,000+ seconds. As well as a general trend of 50+ minute processing. I have dropped back to 2x.
So a rule of thumb where adding another task after the gpu is hitting 99%+ doesn't usually improve production seems to fit the 1.14 version of the app. So the question becomes 1.14 at 2x or 1.08 at 3x or 4x?
And I have switched my profile to Brp7/MeerKat first on the assumption that I continue to run 1.14.

I had a chance to dust off and configure a Windows 10/3950x/Dell rtx 3080 ti system Yesterday.
The plan is to use it to replace my daily driver.
I have been watching the Task Managers report on the GPU closely.
The CUDA sub-topic tops out at 98%-99% when all 3 tasks are in GPU mode. It drops to 90% when 2 are in GPU mode.
The "GPU utilization" # never gets above 30% in all that. Both with Windows Task Manager and a 3rd party app list the same level of GPU utilization.
While I am finding it interesting, I can't afford the electricity bill for crunching it full-time. I will experiment with 4x to confirm it will slow down massively.

Based on limited processing experience with a vanilla Nvidia rtx 3080 ti under Win10 it looks like 3 GPU tasks produces the maximum production.

Since I can't find the announcement where they said the gravity app was changed to 2GB instead of 4GB VRAM, I'll mention it here. Even with 2GB, I can only run two on a 4GB card, and it's still not fully utilising it. A CPU core is flat out for each of the whole tasks. Could it be shrunk further to 1GB with smaller search areas still? Then I can have 4 cores helping.
If this page takes an hour to load, reduce posts per page to 20 in your settings, then the tinpot 486 Einstein uses can handle it.
I have limited experience with trying to get either All sky GW or brp7/meerKat running under windows.
I am also not sure if you can force a particular version of an app to run under windows using the app_info.xml file. Yes you need copies of the exe and parameters files that you list. They are not automatically downloaded. I would make copies of any of those files so you can replace them in the project sub directory.
Anyway, if you turn on the run test app in the profile you might get some different versions of the apps.
You should also look at the apps list to see if there are more than one version for your Amd GPU under windows.
You have a nice Fleet Peter.

They all work pretty well under windows if you make sure the CPU isn't too busy.
My fleet is vastly reduced at the moment, I have 5 non-functional GPUs I need to dismantle and refurbish. I just can't get round to it.
I don't really have the time to fiddle with test apps. I was just querying if it was possible to shrink it even more to increase the CPU:GPU ratio running at once.
If this page takes an hour to load, reduce posts per page to 20 in your settings, then the tinpot 486 Einstein uses can handle it.
I was assuming different test versions might have different RAM needs.
When I can't " get around to it " that usually means I would rather be doing something else. Or sleeping.

I am surprised you can even get 2x on a 4GB card. My experience is that the app uses slightly more than 2GB, and if I try to run 4x on my 8GB cards, I hit computation errors.
I would like to see less VRAM usage as well in the next app, maybe it isn't worth doing for the current one since its time is limited I think.

You just forgot to change the plan_class to 1.14 in the app_info.xml file in the first place along with the application name.
If you had done both at the same time when you edited the app_info file, you wouldn't have seen this issue.
Your current cache of work would have just been replaced with 1.14 versions with 'sending lost tasks' events after several scheduler connections.
