LOL it was pretty cold around my place this morning, with no more BRP7 work temporarily.... I don't want my local utility to think I'm going soft on them.
for speeding up the crunching times no GPU tasks. We all know that task from 49,5%~50% & from 99,5~100% are doing CPU only work. During those times, GPU is not working much. So why not release GPU for crunching other data?
Why?
Well, those gaps are from 10~15min long, compared to tasks working some 40~70min to finish. That means 20~30min GPU is not working & available from crunching, or in other words some 40~50% of task time GPU is not working - in which time other task can be started & completed, while CPU analyzes what it needs to analyze.
This will improve the GPU work load time & give back much more results back into feed - not only for this project, but also others which work on GPU...
No problem, thanks Oliver.

Yep, we're aware of that as well and the team already has got more data in the pipeline. Should be ready for deployment soon.

Thank you for the delicious new BRP7 food to consume.

Can this be done? ????♂️

Hallo!
Will we soon have another, hopefully bigger batch of tasks of O3AS? The current batch has ended today.
Kind regards and happy crunching

Why not just run the compute

Why not just run the compute on gpu applications. Then the gpu doesn't go idle.
