How long does it take for my bio to change so you can see my avatar and sig?

Your profile was approved some days ago and a profile image did show there.

No image shows for your more recent posts so I guess you haven't set up your community preferences to show things like an avatar and a sig.

If you go to your account -> preferences -> community you will see settings for both of these that you can customise as you please.  If you make changes, don't forget to use the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.

Cheers,
Gary.

Hi Colin5468, Welcome to Einstein@Home!

On your Einstein home account webpage, select Preferences, then Community, and you will find what you've been looking for.  You can set up your profile there.  It will take them a day or two to actually approve of your profile before the rest of us can see it.

As for "...what can i do with the credits? ", that is a bit of an overstatement.  Most of us use the credits to accumulate them, the higher the better.  You can see your accumulated credits in BOINCstats, and also see where you rank within each project, as well as a whole.  Many of us use the RAC (Recent Average Credit) for comparison to others.

Any more questions, feel free to ask.  That's why we're here, to help others.

Once again, welcome!

Change it yourself.  Your

Change it yourself.  Your nickname here is whatever you choose.  The project sets it to your account email if you do not change it yourself afterwards after you make the account.

Go to your Community Preferences and change your Name at the top to what you want and Save Changes at the bottom.

Go to your Einstein@Home account page, select 'Preferences', then choose 'Community'.

The asterisk by the name indicates that field is required.  You can put in whatever you want.

I'm trying to figure out how

I'm trying to figure out how to get my statistics to show up. I wonder if I accidentally made them private but I can't find a private setting.

Account > Dashboard  ...

OR

Click on my name to the left of this message and look at my statistics.

RESULT: Empty statistics bar graph

BOINC Einstain@Home – No Stats Showing by Sandro Menzel, on Flickr

EXPECT: A little more data to show up!
