Hello GWGEORGE007; Gary

Hello GWGEORGE007; Gary Roberts; Mikey; SCROOG MCKDUCK;  Thank all of you for your comments and suggestions.  The problem was solved today.  I tried to work all of the suggestions you presented to me, and failed to resolve the issue.  In fear of loosing my mind I keyed in on the date (Feb 20) when my problems started.  As stated, I have five hosts; three connected via one keyboard, mouse, monitor...One was connected remotely via wifi and one was stand-alone.  I was having issues tripping a circuit breaker so I moved them to a room which could handle the load.  I traced down all aspects of the move and found out who was the dirty dog that messed up my system:  IT WAS ME!!!  I found that I labeled a cable incorrectly and routed it incorrectly, so I ended up diagnosing the WRONG host.  I reworked the wiring and bingo, it worked!  To double test I upped that one host to the latest BOINC version.....working like a champ!!!  This is certainly a good lesson:  1,  If it is not working, first look in the mirror to find the person that messed it up.  2, Turn to the forums and ask for help!  There are always people with more knowledge and great attitudes that are willing to help.  Thank all of you!  JB.

WOO HOO!!! I'm glad you figured it out and are crunching again on that pc!! The 'loose nut behind the wheel' IS often the problem with getting things working right and as you said the Forums are full of helpful people that can always come up with things to try that have come up as problems for others.

Woohoo, my goodness. You really seem to still enjoy cheap electricity prices at the other side of the pond... Worrying about the load and whether a circuit breaker could trip. Phew.

Happy Crunching!

Congratulations!  You have done what most others haven't, blaming yourself for the failures.  Glad it is fixed!
