That works too. Will be interested in your future update about the Pi5 performance at Universe.
Just got my pi5 :-)
But it doesn't crunch very fast :-(
its roughly half the speed of my rock 5b and xavier nx, and not really that much faster than my pi4's (although my pi4 scores are all over the place).
Here is the promised blog post about Asteroids@Home, as previously I provide the full test data for you to use:

Now onto Universe!

Thank you!!

Here you go! And that's the final Pi 5 benchmark for me, I won't spam this thread anymore :)
Thanks for your final benchmark at Universe. Looking good.
Thanks! I think it's an interesting point that both Asteroids and Universe have much higher gains on the Pi 5 than Einstein, I would love to know why.
Just the inefficiencies of the Einstein code. Not using the best primitives for the maths compared to Universe and Asteroids.
Have a pi5 up and running. Has to have active cooling and solid power supply. Mine running on POE. Computer 13171986. About twice as fast as my pi4's. Still have to use the custom app on this thread.
I've been noticing alot of results from my raspberry pi 3b+,4b and 5 giving me the results as follow
Is there any way to fix this ? my PC completes things with better results and almost no invalids or inconclusive results
Or is this something that is the current problem with the raspberry pi boinc crunching I'm not sure why?
Kind regards The.jazz
