I run einstein successfully on intel 630 GPU for about 4 years now. Suddeny last week (PC runs for compute only):

I have GPU not found in BOINC 7.24.1 Windows 10 22H2 latest.

WU stopped at 24 % MeerKAT  0.12 BRP-opencl-intel_gpu I regret deleting this WU so there is no info. Why render up to 24% and then say no GPU found?

Then I reset the project. It says GPU not found in Tasks. I habe all projeccts and beta activated in settings for Intel iGPU. No other BOINC projects are installed. Thanks for anyone who can help. I really want to contribute to einstein. Thanks!

P.S: I hope it has nothing to do with the Jan 2024 announcement: https://einsteinathome.org/de/content/new-improved-gravitational-wave-app-happy-new-year-2024-special

The new All Sky 03 gpu tasks take about 2.5gb of gpu memory per task so no that's not your problem. I too had a bunch of Einstein tasks have the same problem and solved it by rebooting, I am guessing Windows shoved thru some update but am not sure because it happened to me on more than one pc on different days.

Sorr., Now I solved it

Sorry. Now I solved it myself: Have Dell Laptop and always used Dell drivers. Always worked fine until last week.

Now I downloaded latest Intel iGPU drivers from here. Unistall driver from computer management. Reboot. Install new Driver. Reboot. E@H works just like before. Boom! Could not be happier! Hope this helps anyone stumbling across this weird behavior when everything seems fine but it isn't.

Update: The Culprit was not

Update: The Culprit was not the old dell driver. It was me logging into the machine with Windows 10 Remote Desktop which blocks the Intel iGPU from being used in BOINC.

After that I needed to quit BOINC and restart BOINC to be able to continue renderung opencl_intel_gpu tasks.
