This question belongs in the the BOINC forum, but for some reason it is nonfunctional this AM so I thought possibly someone here might be able to help. I've only been a BOINC "user" for about 5 weeks but before that I spent 2 years at SETI and over 2 years at and Oxford Univ. project callad FaD.
Here's what I can't figure out. On 3 of my machines I have chosen to run Rosetta along with Einstein and until a couple of days ago everything was working perfectly with BOINC switching projects every 60 min. Then for some reason one machine would not donwload additional work from Einstien@Home until the last job was running and at least 50% completed.
I then made the mistake of experimenting with the number of days between contacts with Einstein@Home and the time settings for switching between projects. Now the BOINC client will not switch projects at all and now I have 2 machines that can't received work from Einstein until the final job is in the process of being crunched. Anyone have an idea how badly I have managed to mess everything up?

Well, I'm in the markets everyday so I may have the first two covered, but you're right, I've been running this program for over a month and hardly glanced at the help files. If nothing else, it's an indication the software is nearly bullet proof and without doubt, idiot proof. Thanks for the help, I will look into the areas you have indicated.

I have had trouble getting
)
I have had trouble getting results to crunch from Einstein, also. Wonder if the queues are running low, or something. I know what my debts are, and they are fine, just sometimes asks for work and doesn't get it. It doesn't bother me, it all works out in the end. I am crunching multiple projects, they do their work. Nothing is lost. So one project gets a little more work for a while. Whoopooe!
