The idea of equal inflow and outflow of volunteers incomprehensible for me... - Denis Puer (MD), explained that the principle of competitive peculiar people and therefore increases motivation.
I do not insist on my opinion, but I would like to understand why not use this kind of motivation, it is worth nothing.

I LIKE the idea of 'progress' badges that express things other then credits, hopefully Bernd and others can find a way to do that here too.
Ok it has been awhile and maybe with the passing of time badges can be reevaluated. Not to say just because many of the, other well run, projects have them although at least 27 projects do.
Badges for recognition of levels of work completed can be a form of positive feedback for volunteers who do not work for coins.
