My chemo treatment starts today, and by all ordinary measures I should already have died, but my doctor is cautiously optimistic. She says that my basic health is way above the curve, and so are my chances of survival. :-)))
That still doesn't make my odds good, but it puts me closer to beating the 95% mortality rate that this disease brings.
