I just started having trouble

I just started having trouble getting the BRP4 units.  I had been getting them very regularly and then they stopped.  I still have them selected, but am running BPR7 now.  I have them both selected.

Went back and made sure all the settings were correct and they are on the BPR4's.  You do have to have the setting for beta apps turned on.

Thanks. I always had beta tests off. I tried with on and still nothing. I get everything to download except BRP4 & BRP7. Like you, I’d been getting them fine until the day I had to start this thread.

Look at your scheduler reply.

Was this a recent change to only have GPU tasks for BRP? Most of my credit on this machine has been from BRP tasks, so I did run them fine in the past.

You just need to look at the

You just need to look at the project apps page to see what apps are available for your hardware and OS.

Read through this thread.

BRP4 Crunching

There were apps for cpu a while ago.  But Bernd decided to deprecate a lot of apps as he moved the short running BRP4 apps into the longer running 8 bundled BRP4 tasks that became the gpu only BRP4G tasks.

You need to run Windows to get the only cpu only app for BRP4/G tasks now.

The reason given is that the BRP4 tasks were putting a large burden on the servers.  By increasing the tasks internally 8 fold, he reduced the return rate to the servers.  And moved to gpu only apps for most OS'
