I repeatedly get this message from BOINC,

"Einstein@Home: Notice from BOINC You are attached to this project twice. Please remove projects named Einstein@Home, then add https://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/"

I don't see where I am signed in twice and the link takes me to the Einstein@Home login page. What am I supposed to do then? I don't want to delete my project and lose all my WU credits.

I think this thread is related to your problem. And there is a "recipe" how to solve it:

Please read the whole thread before starting to edit strings in config files.

Thank you very much Mr.

Thank you very much Mr. McDuck. My version of BOINC, 7.16.11 did not report an update available. But when I went to the BOINC site, there was 7.20.2. I downloaded and updated BOINC and the message went away. Thank you again.

If you were to delete the Project, I know you solved it by updating to the latest version instead, but deleting Boinc from the Boinc Manager does NOT delete anything except your ability to get Einstein tasks on that pc, which is quickly restored once you reattach that pc to Einstein again. Now if you had any tasks on your pc at the time of you deleting the Project YES all those tasks would disappear but the Project would send you new tasks once you reattached.

The reason they wanted you to detach and reattach is because they changed from http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/ to httpS://einstein.phys.uwm.edu// and in the future the old link won't work anymore
