I have not been able to download new WU's for about 2 days. I have tried clicking and unclicking the Suspend and No new Work buttons.
I have changed Connect to network about every ___ from 1 day to 2 days to .1 day and back to 1 day. Clicking on the Update Project each time.

Here are the messages I keep getting.
I am also attached to the Seti project on this computer as well. However as they are having problems with up and down loads I want to Suspend that project till they get it working.
But as I have not Einstein WU I can't shut down Seti.
Thanks

Does Einstein@Home showup in your in your project tab? I am no expert but from what I have read you probably should suspend Seti for the time being. Check out the top thread on Problems and Bug Reports topic.
Yes Einstein does show up on

Yes Einstein does show up on my project tab.
IF I were to suspend the seti project I would have nothing to process.
RE: But as I have not

Would need a lot more information to be sure, but from what you sent, and what others are reporting, I would say you are not going to get any Einstein _until_ you suspend SETI. Work that is currently "downloading" does count as being "present", and in some older versions of BOINC, even "uploading" work counts.

Perhaps and then again perhaps not. You can always reactivate Seti.
After you suspend highlight E@H and click update. If that does not work try the Transfers tab, if you have anything for E@H you can highlight it and click the resend now.
Rudy, As the others have

Rudy,
As the others have mentioned, all you need to do is "suspend" Seti and you will immediately download and start crunching on EAH. When the Seti servers are responding again, you can "resume" Seti at a moments notice. But for now, until you suspend Seti, your machine will just sit idle.
Please post back if this fix doesn't work for you. If you would like the gory details, just read the whole thread that Mark referred to.
Cheers,
Gary.

I have not been able to get any Einstein wu's all day today.
(I don't run seti btw)
I only have about 50% of my last Einstein wu left and it won't give me anything on any of my computers.

That is what I get.
Even if I reset pref. to more days worth of work.

Well after it finished the last one and sent it in it gave me 5 more to do so I guess it is back to normal.
(never worked that way before)
Hi, You'll probably get
)
Hi,
You'll probably get the same behaviour, even if you don't run Seti, because you run LHC. When LHC is out, it will start accumulating positive LTD and EAH will start accumulating negative LTD because you can't get more LHC work when needed. If the LHC outage isn't too long, there may not be a situation where your CPU becomes idle. The longer the LHC outage and the more negative the EAH LTD becomes, the greater will be the possibility that your CPU may become idle.
If it does become idle, simply suspend LHC until it has more work.
I'm actually discussing this with JM7, the author of the scheduler code, to see if he can come up with some sort of fix. The best I can say is, "It's complicated" :).
Cheers,
Gary.

You mean you haven't figured out how to do what I want with out me doing anything ... you know telepathy?
I suspended Seti and then

I suspended Seti and then more Einstein WU downloaded, so I'm up and crunching again.
It was just ticking me off as Einstein has always just worked unlike Seti that keeps having problems from time to time.
Thanks for the help to those that replied
