My coolant temperature is stable at 76°F. I replaced my UPS batteries, at 53 pounds each, and there are two of them. I cleaned my water block, which was restricting the water flow. I cleaned my chiller, and can hold this coolant temperature at full crunch.

I have much work to do.

Peter Hucker on here uses car 12volt batteries for his UPS, he says they are the same voltage but with alot more capacity than the ones that come in UPS systems. He said he buys dead UPS systems and the hooks up his batteries to it and it works great. Now Peter IS well versed in things involving electricity and can do things like that, I can't so that's all the help you can get from me.

No reason to use other

No reason to use other batteries than the OEM batteries, preferably deep discharge marine batteries.  You just won't be able to slide them into the UPS case.  Have to attach them externally and find a spot for them.  All the UPS manufacturers use standard Anderson Power Pole connectors.  Just have to match the connector half that is in the unit and fabricate your own cables of sufficient length to your series connected 12V batteries.

YES he sits them on plywood on the floor and runs longer cables to them, he says he can get used batteries with alot of life still in them for alot less than the UPS replacement batteries. He says he gets "caravan" ones which he said is what we call motorhomes and boats. I've forgotten what Gauge the cables he's using are but maybe 6 Gauge cables.
