The staff of Team Ninja are proud to announce the official opening of the new DC-Vault statistics site found at:
[URL="http://www.dc-vault.com/"]www.dc-vault.com[/URL]
Dedicated to tracking team statistics this site offers a unique possibility of comparing different teams across multiple projects.
Based on a scoring system that rewards participation in multiple projects as well as top positions in projects, the DC-Vault offers listed teams an overview of their performances in the DC-Vault projects as well as an "at a glance" look at the team positions in over 25 current DC projects.
If you want to have your team added, please use the form on the site provided for that purpose.
If your team is already listed in the DC-Vault and you want us to add it to one or more projects, let us know via the site too!
The dedicated DC Vault forums found [URL="http://www.team-ninja.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=109"]here[/URL] have been set up to be the central place for interteam banter and taunting. Comparing teams and planning the next move to enhance your team's overall and/or category ranking is now made easier by the DC Vault stats. Join in and exchange yourself with the huge DC community. Join in the fun and enhance your teams scoring, show off your TFlops. In the end, everyone wins :)

Chipper,
My Firefox 1.5 does the same thing. A faint smell of fecal matter around here.
(edit) in my Opera 7.51, I get a message "This address is not available from this machine". Address listed is http//"http//www dot team-ninjadotcom/vbulletin/forumdisplay dot php questionmark f=109%22, with spaces omitted and dots converted. I've listed it this way for safety, so that it doesn't make another link.
smell is no longer faint, this is definately malicious

No. Just a malformed BB-Code URL Tag. Just hover
with your mouse over the link and you will see.

If we all minus the original post, at least it'd be less viewable...
I have to agree with MK here.

I have to agree with MK here. There is nothing malicious here. The original poster just made malformed tags.
The forum code does not allow me to edit the post and deleting it seems a bit much for what is basically a typo.

Hmmmm. Can't find anything suspicious. Maybe it's because I'am using
Linux/Mozilla. Both links (1, 2), if
embedded correctly, look perfectly OK to me.
No guarantee for Windows users though.

David,
I guess I was being an alarmist, it really threw me that the links took me to MS website, and then that Opera wouldn't handle them at all. Then the "vbulletin" thing, which, in an already-alarmed state, I confused with Virus Bulletin's site. I'm feeling pretty ashamed and embarrassed here, and would appreciate it if you could delete my posts, and the attention-calling thread that I created in "Getting Started"
I am sorry.
Michael
(edit) Michael, David, everyone, especially Ragnarog, I humbly apologize for the disturbance I've caused. KNEW I should have gone to bed at a decent hour.

Nice breakdown of teams and projects. Also interesting to note the work being done in the various categories. I didn't know that there were so many different projects, and was also surprised to learn that some projects use different DC platforms (other than BOINC). Cool site, Ragnarog, thanks for the post.
