I have already dedicated most of my hardware towards einstein@home and I am searching for alternatives to expand my credits production.
What is usually done by users here to produce so many credits?
Usually it is gpu's. But lots of CPU cores would drive up your user rankings even if they didn't drive up your individual machine rankings. A single rtx 3080 will produce very respectable e@h rankings on the e@h project. I remember someone deploying 5 Rx 580's and being on the top 50 list at e@h.
CPU cores will use less electricity but I am uncertain about their efficiency.
Android Tablets/Cellphones can also run E@H tasks. They don't use much energy. And they don't generate much RAC but they are pretty much "turn-key" in operation. You can use an Android Cellphone without having it attach to a cellphone provider (no Sim card).
Another choice would be to deploy systems in CPU only projects like Universe@Home. You will find "several" participants from E@H running U@H on their high end systems.

Hi Castaris! Thanks for the offer to buy my RX580s. But, I am going to pass for now - I just bought a cheap eGPU enclosure and I am going to put one of the RX 580s into it. A second RX 580 is going into a MacPro 5,1 that also has a GTX 680 - I finally acquired an external power supply to drive the RX 580. And the third RX 580 is going to serve as a stop-gap spare GPU - a number of my GPUs are reaching the end of their service lives and I need a stop gap replacement while I shop for a permanent one. I fry approximately 3-4 GPUs per year.

What are you guys doing to 'fry' a gpu? I'm not sure I've ever 'fryed' one but have had a couple of capacitors pop over time. I also only run one task at a time and never overclock anything.
