My BOINC manager still

My BOINC manager still remains 'Disconnected', but my Windows 64 machine happily crunches through work units 12 hours per day. Any more suggestions on how I can get Boinc manager to authenticate?

I have resolved my BOINC

I have resolved my BOINC issues with the help of someone from the LIGO project/team: As a Windows 'cruncher', I had to uninstall BOINC application, and delete both the BOINC application directory (under 'Program Files') and also the BOINC DATA directory in my Windows personal profile. Then, using my saved BOINC password (as saved in Chrome browser) I then performed a full reinstall of BOINC using the installer downloaded from the web. It's now up and running GPU applications 24/7 - both NVIDIA (2 threads) and Intel GPU (one thread) as configured in Einstein@Home project preferences. It's all running under my OpenlySecular project user profile. :-)

Thanks LIGO!!

The laptop is running under the same account and email address as I am writing this message. (Which is an iPad on which I don’t run Boinc, just the web account.

I wonder if the Boinc I’d on laptop is clashing with desktop….?

I will log off the laptop Boinc profile to see if that has an impact

Alot of people with multiple pc's use the same account info on each pc to keep things simple, that's why this didn't help when you tried logging off on the laptop.

Now using the same name on multiple pc's can be a problem but most people have some kind of naming scheme so each device has it's own name, or they let the OS choose the name and just stick with that.
