I have one of my computers

I have one of my computers set up to run Einstein@home through BOINC. When I tried to add the project to my other computers through Boinc stats I get the message "Incorrect Password".  It seems that the rules for password characters/length are different between BOINC and Einestein@home.  Neither seems to have a place where the password can be changed so they match.  Einstein@home has a more complex password requirement which is not a problem, but I'm woried that I will lose connection to other projects if I somehow change the BOINC basic password.

OK, I found my problem.  I get a warning message when I try to change passwords, but it does allow me to do so.

Most Boinc Projects allow passwords of 8 somethings a fairly new one though, Kryptos, requires 9 somethings as a password

Correction:

Most BOINC Projects allow a MINIMUM of 8 somethings as a password, Kryptos requires a MINIMUM or 9 somethings as a password.

Posting here to test my Bio

Posting here to test my Bio setup

I started crunching for Einstein a few days ago after watching the 2021 Boinc Workshop - Day 1 - Bruce Allen video on YouTube. I originally started with Rosetta but foudn I could not hit the deadlines required by them without leaving my PC on all night, which is something I really didn't want to do at this point.

Hi from the UK!

Started crunching in 2022 - a small cog in a very big wheel.

Do you need to crunch so much data first?

It usually takes 2 to 3 days, and as you began crunching on Feb 14, it will happen soon.
