Now that's a nice formula to get a nice performance averages over weeks. I like it! Thanks!
Oh and I haven't seen any explanation on the website or on BOINC documents...."Avg user credit" and "AVG CREDIT" everywhere....but no hint on what it actually means.
I'm using this thread for an additional question: I'm seeing "Average work done" or "Average Credit", and "Recent Average Credit" as well. Is it the same number?
Since I'm using 24 CPUs right now and Benchmark says 5309.55 million ops/sec:
24 * 5,309.55 Miops/sec = 127,429,200,000 ops/sec
For a full day: 24*60*60s * 127,429,200,000 ops/sec = 11,009,882,880,000,000 ops (per day)
So far I did "31.33 quintillion floating-point operations" for "36,256,764 Cobblestones" which means 864.114.624.239 floating point operations per cobblestone
This means I'll do 11,009,882,880 Miops / {864.114.624.239 ops/cobblestone} = 12,741 cobblestones per day

where are you seeing these? People certainly do other computations than the specific BOINC RAC one. But probably you can assume that Recent Average Credit is indeed BOINC RAC.

The BOINC Manager itself uses this verbiage on the main 'Projects' page/tab.
And the Einstein Statistics 'Top Hosts' page uses just "Avg. Credit" as one of the columns.
RAC = Recent Average

RAC = Recent Average Credit

It is a decaying function based over 28 days.

Indeed all of these terms are interchangeable.
