Hey guys,

after a year or two of absence I am back at E@H! But I noticed, that something crazy is going on with my CPIDs. Einstein is not showing up in my BAM stats or in any other statistics. However the displayed CPID seems to be correct. But clicking the stats Link in my profile here on Einstein gives me another ID in the Link.

My Host: https://einsteinathome.org/host/12906475
Clicking on Global stats leads me here: https://www.boincstats.com/stats/-1/host/detail/2753f2d16393f8ed268506c6466c8038
But my E@H Profiles CPID is: a026dbd68aeac0dd4624f52c5b805f81
And in all my other projects it puts me here, to my correct BAM: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/a026dbd68aeac0dd4624f52c5b805f81
This contains everything, but not Einstein :(

Thanks in advance!

If you wait a day for the

If you wait a day for the stats to be exported, it will probably sort itself out to just one CPID on Einstein.

The other thing to check is

The other thing to check is what your external CPID shows for Einstein in your client_state.xml file.

To keep projects from switching CPID's around on you, you should always populate that parameter if it is blank.

I suspect yours is blank.

Close BOINC down and open client_state.xml up with an editor.  Find the <external_cpid></external_cpid> tag in the Einstein section and check to see if it has your external CPID

a026dbd68aeac0dd4624f52c5b805f81

value in it.  If it is just<external_cpid></external_cpid>, change it to <external_cpid>a026dbd68aeac0dd4624f52c5b805f81</external_cpid>

and then save the file.  Make sure you save it as its native xml type.  Don't let an editor append a text type to the file or you will lose everything when BOINC can't find its file.

Thank you very much! you got me pointed in the right way. The file was there, but I had the privacy option here on Einstein set to not export my stats. I dont know why that was and never had problems with other projects.... but I am happy to have it work now!

Glad you got it working.  Yes

Glad you got it working.  Yes there are several projects that implemented GDPR rules that you have to change in your preferences for stats export to third-party data aggregators.
