Hi,
You don't really say if you are talking about an optimised BOINC client (and these _are_ available) or an optimised Einstein science application. I presume you are after optimised science applications as the optimised BOINC client has no effect on the speed of processing but rather improves the benchmarks so that you get to submit a beefed up credit claim. I imagine this would be useful if you have multiple cpus in your box and the credit claim often seems woefully low in these high power systems.
On the assumption you are talking about the science app, here is a link to a thread where this question was recently answered.
