I am trolling for used Rx 5700 gpus.

Do you have one you are not using and don't plan to use in the near future?

Are you willing to sell at no more than twice the price you paid for it?

I might be interested.

Please.  Thank you.

Look on FaceBook Marketplace too, sometimes they have stuff at decent prices and if you use PayPal you should be able to get your money back if they don't come thru like they should. I've been looking on there for awhile and the prices are dropping but not very fast yet.

Way back before the bubble I paid about $325 for most of my Rx 5700's.  So being willing to pay $650 seems reasonable.  Most of the gpus on eBay are 5700xt's which start at $750-$800.

Some P104-100's have come on the market.  But Gpu-Z lists them to be about as good as a Gtx 1660 Super which I already have for less money.

Does that mean you bought it, or was it sold before you could buy it?

Sorry I wasn't very clear.  I ordered it.  Now to see if the seller will send it :)

That should give me 6 functional gpus.  Unless I manage to get the XFX Rx 5700 fixed.

I have ordered 5 more flat ribbon Pcie cables.  3 which are longer (35cm) so I am hoping to get "everything" mounted.

I just got my 3950x installed/fired up in a temporary ATX case so I can move it into the living room.

Then I will setup my i9-9900 MB on the test bench and start tinkering some more with the XFX Rx 5700 under Linux.  If I can get it to work it will go back on the EPYC system.  Otherwise I am still waiting on XFX for how to ship it in for repairs.

Later on when I am feeling more ambitious than I am right now I will swap the 3050x/MB back into the large server case (upright) that I have and swap the 2700x/MB/2 Rx 580's into the mid-sized Atx case I have.

given your problems with

given your problems with previous XFX cards carrying no second hand warranty, did you get a GPU that carries one? in case it goes bad again?

George,

Right now the 3950x is in the mid-sized tower.  However the giant air cooler fan is sticking up far enough you can't close the case.  I have a server class case that is currently home to a 2700x/Rx 580's that previously housed the outsized air cooler.  So "the plan" such as it is, is to swap the two so both can be buttoned up against dust etc.

Except for the XFX I haven't had trouble with my Rx 5700 cards.  Even the one that I had to back flash the bios on to get it back to stable (it had that 5700 xt bios upgrade that was making the rounds earlier (last year?)).

I have had lots of trouble with the riser card kits. Much less trouble with the flat ribbon solution (Thank you Ian).

The XFX came in with a broken bios selection switch.  I think that once I discovered that and had left well enough alone it probably would have worked better in the long run.

With china banning crypto

With china banning crypto including the actual mining I assume a lot of GPU boards are going to become available driving price down.
