My CPU times more than doubled in validated tasks. Why?

Out of Einstein@home on computer #12851564 from May 12th to June 6th, I have a completed number of 2368 Valid Tasks.  I've averaged the fastest and slowest 20 tasks and came up with these average times:

In CPU time, average of 5:42.75 mins for 20 E@H (fastest)

In CPU time, average of 11:58.25 mins for 20 E@H (slowest)

They all appear to be LATeah3011L0x tasks, so why the big discrepancy?

I am more curious than anything else.  I'm running my 3950X with 2 x RTX-2070 Supers, and I recently down graded my PC (slowed the OC) just a bit to accommodate the heat issues now prevalent where I live.  It is averaging in the low 90's each day with humidity in the 60% range outside, and inside I have a nice, comfortable 80 F with 39% RH.

Could my downgrading have caused that much difference?  I haven't been watching as much movies lately (it is my daily driver).

Just the difference due to

Just the difference due to different parameter sets in the sub-series.

Thanks Keith, I was thinking

Thanks Keith, I was thinking along those lines but I didn't want to stick my noobie nose out and have it get punched again.  I'm a bit shy when it comes to that, but I'm getting better at it.     ;*)
