Yes... believe it or not, we DO scroll back and we do read. But unlike some who apparently know the infrastructure, what servers are assigned to what, whether they are multi-tenant or dedicated to a specific type of analysis, etc... the general population out here does not have that context. Instead we volunteer our time and resources, try to infer the best we can, and when we see an issue, we search through, find one that has been updated in the last few days to a week (while they may have been started last year, it's still been getting updates), and try to ask. Why do we do that? Because when we don't, we get snide comments about not searching and finding the appropriate thread.
So Bernd, thanks again. Great explanation and much appreciated. There are files that will start timing out tomorrow, but the system will automatically deal with that if it happens. Just out of curiosity, have you considered moving the file storage/upload/download portions to something like AWS so you only pay for the infrastructure as needed? I realize it's not cost justifiable in all cases, but it can be and it avoids a lot of headaches you are seeing. Just a thought, and thanks again.
Thanks for the explanation as to what's going on with the uploads.
I have several work units waiting to be uploaded. There's nothing to do but wait patiently - worrying about it or being angry about it isn't good for one's health.
Seems to have cleared out around 5:30m local/cst/usa

Pass on the positive sentiments to the team that have come in early to kick the servers into motion.

Sounds like you have wires and network paths going all over the place!
I don't know how you do it! But amazing none the less.
