    There is no way to determine how much GPU is used for all of the apps inside of the BOINC settings. Something to determine the maximum usage would be very helpful. I want to be able to run it low and slow all the time.

      Because the aftermarket companies do a far better job of updating stuff they decided to let them provide apps like you are asking for, that way you get the latest and greatest without waiting for months and months to get an update. ALL of the funding was cut so all the Boinc Programmers are doing it as volunteers now and that means a longer time between updates.

      For your specific question try MSIAfterBurner it works on both AMD and Nvidia gpu's and let's you do all kinds of adjustments.
