I agree and that’s my point. It’s an issue requiring finding a proper configuration to prevent from happening, not a workaround. I’m sure he has it setup properly as well.
the OPs issue could be many different things. Hard to really know where to start without access to his system and knowing exactly how he’s running it. BOINC compute configs, other projects, whether or not he’s leaving enough spare CPU free or trying to over commit with a 100% setting, CPU/GPU overclock settings, etc.

Actually surprised he appears to be running the stock app. I would have expected him to run his own anonymous app version.
I run his BRP4 custom app on my Nvidia Jetson Nano with great results.
