Hi everyone,

I hope one of you can help me with this, maybe I am just overlooking something...

In my project preferences I only selected Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 (GPU), but I am only getting GW GPU tasks.

Test applications and non prefered apps is both set to no, tried to change and save the project prefs a few times already, but I´m still getting only GW tasks.

I hope someone of you is able to help me.

Thanks!

PS.:

Here are my project prefs for you to check:

That's correct, you're not :-).

They must be tasks previously allocated to your computer that you managed to 'make disappear' in some way.  When your client contacts the scheduler, the missing stuff gets noticed and the scheduler kindly replaces it for you - in batches of 12 at a time.

The proper way to get rid of unwanted work is to select all such tasks in BOINC Manager and click the abort button.  Depending on just how many were made to disappear, you may need to rinse and repeat until the full list has been aborted.  Once those 'lost tasks' are properly disposed of, you should just get what your preferences specify.

Cheers,
Gary.

Thanks for your help and the

Thanks for your help and the explanation. I just let BOINC do it´s thing and let my PCs crunch thru the GW tasks, and now  I´m getting FGRP tasks again.
