I've removed the doubleups to make it easier for people to peruse the thread. I enjoy reading the exchanges between both yourself and Michael and I like the way you both show enthusiasm and you both go beyond the "call of duty" trying to help in all sorts of ways.
I've yet to experience the "characteristics" of the new crunchtime correction factor and I imagine it will need quite a bit of tuning when you take into account the vastly different behaviours of the different projects. The whole idea of beta testing is for people to report and "complain about" what seems to be wierd behaviour and Michael is doing just that. I'm sure John Keck is not being "offended" by Michael's vigorous pursuit of the issue.
My earlier "Now, now, Michael" comment was actually a joke - just a gentle dig and no censure intended. You are both doing just fine. I'm about to disappear for a week after a week of not much time to get involved. For the next week I'll have zero involvement in these boards. I'll catch up with your exchanges when I get back.
Gary, you will be missed by many. I sincerely hope that you are taking the time for leisure. Between the hours you spend on the Helpline and the recent training courses you gave (you DO still operate a business on top of all the rest, right?), you need to go walkabout or something, to recharge. Just a thought...you aren't by any chance an insomniac, are you?
Go and enjoy life, and leave Boincing off your mind. There are many who will divvy up your workload until you can resume.
Just don't imagine that there will not be a few toughies awaiting your special individual attention! LoL

Isn't it kind of affronting towards the Canadians to call them tech-poor? :-O
Now, Fuzzy, I think you know very well that I wasn't referring to someone living in Quebec, Quebec. I've travelled across most of the southern part of Canada, from Montreal to North Vancouver, BC, where my maternal grandparents used to live. Nowhere along the line did I see anything less modern or sophisticated than in my native USA.
So, how did you infer that I was calling Quebec City tech-poor?

Now I'm puzzled, because Ariane seems to live in Quebec City, Canada! Over at Seti she gave the urls to her sites in this post, and as I find Ariane a very intriguing person, also from reading her posts both here and on Seti, I opened these sites!
The first one, Index of /parsifal_silen, I don't know why she hasn't made to a proper site yet, but I read her poems, and those I can understand (My French is really not so good!) I find very exciting. I can easily see Ariane in them, and they give a great picture of her and the person she is.
Now, I am confused. It is my understanding that Ariane lives in Tehran, Iran. I visited the 2 poetry sites several days ago, and went straightaway to reading the poems, and in haste, must have missed the address posted. I agree, I also see her in the poetry.

Firstly, I put no name in the tech-poor comment, the name was attached by others who recognized.
Secondly, I referred to the *area where she lives* as tech-poor, not the lady.
If you were to look over some of the posts that Gary and I have had with her when she was struggling to get started with Einstein, I think you would understand, and know that there exists no unkindness.
