    I attempted to upgrade 1 machine from 4.15 to 4.19, and this is the result:

              Resuming still doesn't work in my Linux 2.6-10.
              I have had "Leave apps in memory"= yes. Could that be it?

                4.19 Running on 4 machines, So far every unit is fine no problems...

                1 Machine Just S@H 4.19 P4 1.8
                2 Machine Both 50% S@H E@H 4.19 AMD 2200+ P4 2.0
                1 Machine Just E@H 4.19 AMDxp 2400+

                All are Wxp Pro seems smooth!

                  My english is very bad, therefor in german:

                  Update von 4.17 auf 4.19 auf einem Rechner ohne Probleme (P4 1.8, WinXPSP2, Einstein + CPDN).
                  Auf einem 2. Rechner (Athlon64 3.2, WinXPSP2, Einstein + CPDN)) scheint das Update von 4.15 unmöglich.
                  Weder die Installation von 4.19 klappt, noch die von 4.17 (!!). In beiden Fällen werden die Projekte zurückgesetzt und es erscheint die Meldung (hier für 4.19):

                  Die WU H1_0099.9__0100.1_0.1_T14_Test02 befindet sich aber noch in der Warteschlange.
                  Mehrmalige Versuche nach dem Zurückspielen des Backups brachten das gleiche Ergebnis. Mal lief Einstein, mal lief CPDN, zwischendurch den Rechner auch 'mal runtergefahren.
                  Beim Update war Boinc natürlich abgeschaltet, Virenscanner und Firewall ebenso, es befand sich nichts im Taskmanager.

                  Ich habe Einstein dann bei laufender 4.15 manuell zurückgesetzt. Boinc hat einstein_4.72_windows_intelx86.exe + einstein_4.72_windows_intelx86.pdb
                  neu geladen. Dann wieder Versuch des Updates mit gleichem Erfolg. Einziger Unterschied: Diesmal kam die Meldung

                  --- - 2005-01-26 19:10:43 - H1_0099.9__0100.1_0.1_T15_Test02: error in element

                  wobei sich die nach dem Reset neu erstellte WU H1_0099.9__0100.1_0.1_T15_Test02 in der Warteschlange befand.

                  Weiss jemand einen Rat? Ich möchte nicht die CPDN-Stunden umsonst gerechnet haben und bin für jeden Tip dankbar.

                    I don't know this for sure, but from my own upgrades and user feedback I'm afraid that the "major version" of the state file changed somewhere between 4.14 and 4.17, so an update from 4.17 (and possibly 4.16) to 4.19 should work without problems, but upgrading from prior versions might fail with this error. I didn't look into the the code, though, anyone else to confirm this?
