Stalled tasks?

I seem to have an inordinate number of tasks that don't progress. I note the % complete at a given time/date, and the % completions doesn't advance. I'll then abort those.
Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

Try suspending Boinc then restarting it, also check to see if have Boinc set to suspend while you are using your pc.

I've tried those things. Also shutting BOINC and jobs down manually (so properly checkpointed) before restarting the PC. Depending on what I'm using the machine for, I sometimes have it set to compute only when inactive for 10 minutes, but lately it's been run always.
I just wondered if there were others seeing something similar, that might be related to the WUs being distributed currently.

The problem is that your CPU - an A10-5750M APU is a laptop processor first released in 2013. It probably doesn't have the necessary power to complete these GW CPU tasks (which are computationally quite intensive) in anything like a reasonable time. It may well be that crunching is slowing or stalling due to overheating. If you are not paying close attention to temperature you may well harm your machine by attempting these.
You may find better success if you disable the GW (O2MD) search and try the gamma-ray pulsar search for CPUs - FGRP5 - particularly if you restrict the number of cores BOINC is allowed to use. BOINC sees your machine as having 4 processors. How many of those have tasks that are running concurrently? You could try setting the preference for the % of cores BOINC is allowed to use to 25% to see if a single running task is able to complete. If you're already having trouble with just a single task running, the GW search is not for that machine.
