signed in in boincstats, selecting "BAM! :: Sign-up for projects", then E@H -> sign-up

--> create account gives "Account creation disabled"

--> find account gives "incorrect password"

could it be that boincstats assunes having the same password for the project as for the stats???

and here in Einstein@home I don't see E@H in Dashboard at Projects, where I see all other projects.

My apologies for bringing a

My apologies for bringing a thread back from the dead, however this may (or may not) be useful for anyone else in the same boat.

I had the OP's problem. I worked around it by changing my password to omit all punctuation symbols.

My best guess is the authentication system doesn't like some characters, or Boinc and Web browsers use different representations for some characters.

I've had problems like this with authentication in certain Microsoft environments in the past. On that occasion the £ (GBP) symbol was the issue, and that was present in my original, Boinc-failing password here too.

I hope that helps someone Smile
